Moving from traditional face to face (f2f) instruction to online instruction is challenging. Although good teaching is good teaching, connecting with students online requires a different set of skills. The Georgia Virtual Learning Open Online Teacher Training (TOOL) equips teachers to make this transition. This blog will document my experience as I work my way through the five requisite skills within the TOOL framework to become an effective online teacher. Each skill is a category on this blog: Participate, Navigate, Communicate, Create, and Evaluate. Join me as I learn the skills needed to teach in a digital world.
